Yesterday, I have read a post on someone’s blog that it would only take 15 days for your body to adjust in a new environment or to a new situation. It then came into my mind that maybe, just maybe if I try not eating rice and consume more fish and vegetables instead for at least 15 days, my body will get used to it and I might achieve weight loss gradually.
For the past year, I’ve gained so much weight and it turned out that I am already obese. I began to feel sickly and so heavy. Everybody who knows me then, would always be shocked seeing me like this, in fact, I would always hear them say… “Anong nangyari sa’yo?! Ang taba taba mo na!!!” (What happened to you?! You are so fat right now!). I hate it when they say those things to me!
My husband always tells me to go on a diet but I don’t have that much courage and discipline to do so. I always eat whatever I want even if I am full (hmmm… that’s gluttony! bad..bad..bad..) and I’m so lazy for physical activities like exercise.
After reading the blog, I decided to have a diet plan, I also tried to research some useful information that could help me out stick with this.
Today is my first day of not eating rice, just veggies and fish, though I still ate bread and biscuit this morning and afternoon. Luckily the day will be over soon, at least for now, I survived not eating even a single grain of rice. I was thinking that I have done it today, for sure I can do it again tomorrow!
So if there’s anybody out there curious about my “Diet Plan”, here it goes…
1st Week >>> No rice! just fish and vegetables. Though I can eat biscuit or bread. I also drink plenty of water, juice, and tea. I drunk Milo in the morning. I am also taking a food supplement called “Power Shake” for detox.
2nd Week >>> This is when I am planning to go through a “Cabbage Soup Diet”. I have downloaded a 7 Day diet plan and cabbage soup recipe. This plan will only be a short-term process. I also have to take some multi-vitamins.
3rd & 4th Week >>> I’ll go back to the no rice diet…
I’m going to try this out for a month, hopefully I could see better results. Later on I’ll post a pictures of mine before and after this diet plan so that I could see if there would be any changes.
Why am I blogging about this? I wanted to inspire others! I’m gonna keep on updating you guys. Wish me luck on this! Ciao

It’s the second day of my diet program (04-07-09) and so far so good. Again, I’ve survived the whole day without eating rice!
